See Animals?

Since the last time we went and fed the animals at Morningside Park, Becca asks all the time if we can go "see animals?" Seth was out of town this weekend presenting a paper in California so I took the kids to feed the animals again and remembered to bring my camera this time! They love it so much, and I don't have to chase them down as they run in opposite directions like at the park! So it works to our mutual satisfaction.

What I wouldn't give to live in place like this with the forest as my yard!
This young jersey cow was very friendly.
And he really liked scratching his head on Lincoln's shoes. Linc did NOT like it!
Isn't this the coolest picture!

Then they got to feed the cows some hay.
Becca was a real pro.

Then they fed the chickens some corn. When we first got there, we went to see the chickens and there is one beautiful rooster in there. Ella got real close to them and all of the sudden the rooster cock-a-doodle-dooed and she got so scared she jumped back and started crying! Those roosters sure can be loud!

That was our trip to the farm. Can't wait until Daddy gets home!

On a random note, I found the kids in Becca's crib the other day. They had filled it all with books and then sat in there and read them! Makes a mother proud!

Ravine Gardens

This last weekend, we went to Azalea Days at the Ravine Garden State Park in Palatka. It's about halfway to the beach so we stopped on our way there. It was beautiful!

Lincoln got to be a fireman for a few seconds. For some reason he wouldn't look up at us.

Becca got a balloon.

Link got a sticker on his head.
They also had this fun blow up toy that they loved jumping in! Who wouldn't love that!

They even had a whole trail of azaleas you could walk under.
And mom I had to get a good picture of some Azaleas for you!
As if we didn't have enough beach pictures, here are some more!!
Here is Ella in her cute new swimsuit!

She still loves feeding those birds.

Not sure what Link is doing.

Daddy tried to go catch Mr. Krabs for the kids as he was scurrying past our legs in the water, so he took one of the kids' buckets to get him. When Becca saw him take it, she freaked out and ran after him crying for her bucket (that she wasn't using). He tried a couple of times to sneak off with one but she was watching him like a hawk!

Ella Antics

Ella is at the cute little age of two and I love watching all the new things she comes up with. Here are some pictures of her in all her cuteness.

She wanted to be like Lincoln as he left for school with his backpack on. She wore it all day with toys inside.
And did some yoga with it too.
And of course watched T.V.
Here she is with her favorite toys. Usually she is found at her window sill playing but today it was the bench.

Oh yes we see you cute girl with the crazy hair you won't let me do!
